How do I add an image (as a stamp) to a PDF page in Preview, not add/insert a page to the PDF?

I want to add a jpg image (stamp) to a page in PDF, not insert an image as a page in the PDF. Is there seriously no way to do this in Preview? I need to add a business stamp (approval) to a submittal. That's it.

This app (also Quick Look) is frustrating, problematic, and almost useless at times, when it comes to viewing/editing PDF's on Mac. Will it ever be able to properly view/edit PDF's like Adobe and others? I am constantly told to get Adobe, but I don't want/shouldn't have to. Wake up Apple.

Apple's Preview is not a PDF Editor, and you will need a proper PDF Editor to add an image to an existing PDF document page. There are some in the Mac App Store (e.g. PDFPen, PDF Expert) with free trials on the vendors support site.
