Why is my Apple account locked?
I got an email today saying apple account is locked and I’m trying to figure out why

Are you sure it's from Apple? Thousands, or more like millions of scam messages like this go out every day. Usually with a few very common traits:
- It threatens to delete your account in xxx number of hours.
- The grammar and English is laughably bad.
- Includes any type of attachment.
- Includes any type of link to login to your account.
These will never, EVER be in an email from Apple.
