formating iMac HD with only windows OS on drive with out password

I have an old iMac and the only OS onboard is windows, I would like to wipe the drive and reinstall a fresh copy of iMacOS.

I have forgotten the password for the iMac its been a couple of years since I used it last

Boot into Internet Recovery (if possible).

From there, you can use Disk Utility to Erase the drive, then reinstall macOS.

If the password you forgot was the Firmware password, then you have to take it to an Apple Store or Authorized repair center to have the lock removed. You will need some form of proof of ownership.
