Quality two-meter Thunderbolt 3 cable?

I can get 3rd party cables, but I don’t trust them. It’s for a Universal Audio Apollo 8 interface, and I’m having trouble getting the Mac Pro close enough to the audio rack. If those beautiful cloth-lined 2-m Thunderbolt 3 cables ship with the XDR, I know they exist. Why doesn’t Apple make them available?

(The active circuits in those cables are mysterious. What do they do in regard to data flow?)

3rd party cables should be fine if they offer 40Gbps. Apple sells the Belkin cable at a good price.

Belkin Thunderbolt 3 5A Cable (2 m) - Apple

The StarTech one costs considerably more.

Cables shorter than one meter do not need any electronics in the connectors, and can also be used as non-Thunderbolt USB-C cables. Longer cables have more voltage loss and need signal amplification in the connectors to still provide 40Gbps. These cables are not fully compatible with non-Thunderbolt USB.
