unmounting error fixing a split fusion drive

“diskutil unmountDisk disk0” command works and unmounts disk1 as well. but moving on to the “diskutil cs create Macintosh\ HD disk0 disk1” it cant get past unmounting disk0 and i don't know what the problem is

Make sure you are referencing the correct drive identifiers for your internal hard drive and SSD. Use the following command to get the drive identifiers for the internal drives:

diskutil  list  internal  physical


If you are running an older version of macOS, then you may not be able to use the "physical" option.


If you still have issues, then post the results of my command plus a copy of the command you are using to create the Fusion Drive as well as the results.
