Lag badly while gaming using Wifi

im playing mobile legend player using my new iphone11.

the problem is when using wifi (while turn off other non essential background apps) the game keep lagging & ping not stable.

1) i set the graphic to lowest everything.

2) turn on data & wifi together

3) follow suggestion from youtube etc

4) update latest ios

5) end up reset to factory

but the problem still persist.

lastly i turn off wifi play the game using mobile data only, set graphic to ultra & THERE IS NO LAG ISSUE AT ALL. Please help.

try to turn off bluetooth in the setting, do not turn off bluetooth in control center that doesn't work. Bluetooth can interfere your wifi connection under the 2.4g band, if your router has 5g band, use 5g if possible.

Thus far it would appear that this may be isolated to an issue with your Wi-Fi network. Fortunately, we've a resource which provides a number of steps and information that can help: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference

You may also want to check your Wi-Fi network's configuration to ensure that there are no conflicts that may cause such behavior: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

If it appears that this issue is isolated to game play in this specific app (such as the issue occurring on all Wi-Fi networks you try with), your best source for support will be the game's developers.

Wi-Fi 6 is the next generation of Wi-Fi. It’ll still do the same basic thing — connect you to the internet — just with a bunch of additional technologies to make that happen more efficiently, speeding up connections in the process. Mine iphone 11 too & it use wifi 6, so after changing router that support latest wifi 6, all the lags problem gone! :)

Bro I solved the problem by changing my wifi router (support wifi 6) since my previous wifi router did not support wifi 6 :D & there is no more laggging issues. Hope this help ya too

Nice. Okay. I use a iphone11 right now. But I know it’s the WiFi Bc my ps4 lags sometimes too when I play. So it is called WiFi 6? What does the 6 mean? I will definitely look into a new router then! Thanks

Okay that makes total sense. Thank you! The only router I have right now is the one that I got with AT&T, so I’m sure it’s just a basic crap one. I was about to just trash my phone and not get iPhone anymore to be honest 😹
