can i change my child account to an adult account?

Is it possible to change a child (16 years) account to an adult account? I know it's not exactly right, but I just want to be able to use Wallet and Apple Pay so I don't have to carry my card around everywhere I go. I am currently in a Family Sharing group, and my parents are okay with it.
