iPhone date/time changed to Beijing time

All of a sudden starting yesterday my iPhone date and time changed from local time to Beijing time? Were they hacked?

RockiesNow,

I'm glad you decided to reach out on the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, your time automatically shifted without traveling into the time zone on your iPhone.

Has it adjusted back to the correct day and time?

I’m asking because if you have your date and time to automatically set, it pulls data from your cellular connection with permission from your privacy settings. I would start by checking with your carrier about any issues they may have been experiencing.

You can also use this guide to check settings:

If you can’t change the time or time zone on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

Take care.
