All root certificates not trusted on MacBook Air/ Yosemite how can I fix this?

In Keychain Access, certificate assistant all keys showing as untrusted. Laptop can’t connect to internet or App Store for updates. I reinstalled MacOS from recovery boot and checked disk with disk utility. I have lots of certs, but nothing is showing as trusted. The laptop was able to connect and download in recovery mode.

how can I get trusted certs again?

Hello jimbinnh,

I can understand wanting to change the settings to trust the apps on your Mac. If you haven't had a chance, I'd say to start here: Change the trust settings of a certificate in Keychain Access on Mac
