Keyboard and Battery Issues

Hello,

I purchased my MacBook Air shortly after the new one was launched in 2018. Recently, I've been facing constant issues with the keyboard, as it becomes non-responsive as soon as the laptop goes to sleep. The most brief period of inactivity leads to both the track pad and the keys becoming non-responsive and I often have to wait for a few minutes and press random buttons to finally get it to start working again.

In addition to that, I saw that my battery was not charging any more, despite the USB-C power cord being plugged in, with the charging symbol on display. I tried the SMC reboot, but it hasn't helped. It's not even been two years since I purchased the laptop, and these are the most consistent issues. How do I make them go away permanently?

Thanks in advance,

Parth

Check your battery health.

Go ->About This Mac->System Report->Hardware->Power

May be your battery needs to be replaced.
