how to eject i pod from itunes

• To eject the iPod, click on the device icon that appears at the top of the iTunes window when iTunes detects it:

• That takes you to the Device/Settings/Summary panel
• At the top of Device screen is the eject icon:

Note that the eject symbol does not appear until a Sync has completed. Until that time, you will see two spinning arrows instead.
