Storage - iCloud and Photo

I just got a new iPhone, and went from 128GB to 64GB. I haven’t had any major issues except with my photos. After 3 weeks, it still is saying that my photos and videos are ‘restoring from iCloud’. I even purchased another 2GB of cloud storage - and it doesn’t seem to be helping. I can take pictures in a text and send them, but it won’t let me save any new photos or delete existing photos...

I’m still a bit dense in the ‘cloud’ usage - but would love some advice! Thanks in advance.

Leave the device plugged and connected to WiFi as it may take a while depending on the size of the library.

Hi there,

yes it looks like I have plenty of space when I check out my storage. That said, my pictures are still not fully ‘restored’ or allowing me to save new/delete old.

I may not need the 2GB of cloud storage I purchased ($2.99/mo) - to your point - but I was trying to see if that would help with the picture situation. No luck.
