Connecting Sony headphone WH-1000XM3 to Air through the audio jack.

Hello,

I have successfully managed to bluetooth pair my headphones with my Macbook Air. But, if I do not want to use the bluetooth, and want to connect the headphones through the audio jack that comes with the standard pack, I get extremely muffled audio o/p. In some instances, I do not get any o/p at all.

Please help!

Hello Shreyansh,

When you do connect the Headphones through the 3.5mm Audio Port then I have a feeling that the headphones are still attempting to or are connected to the MacBook Air via bluetooth.

Have you tried disconnecting the headphones from bluetooth before connecting the headphone through the Audio jack?

Good point and Noted. I am in agreement with you.

One thing I want to note and I know that this is trivial however when you are using the audio jack then is the connector pin from the headphones ALL THE WAY in the port? Double check this. I have, at times, failed to fully insert the pin and experienced muffed to low audio as a result of not doing so. Just thought that I'd mention.
