re: eddiepn
(Microsoft?) ~ The issue is re-direct of desired google search engine
through a bunch of hoops; so it comes out 'bing' with ads and junk.
And is not a simple matter of reselecting Bing as search-default.
Sometimes MalwareByte for Mac can help be rid of this; but not
always. It helps to have a few general good ideas & tools. (This Q:
has been revisited every few years in ASC.) ~ Proof as follows:
• Search 'Baron' Browser Redirect to Bing - Apple Community

"..Hi there, I'm currently having an issue where every time I use a browser "chrome, safari, firefox" on my Mac Desktop there is a 'search baron' that redirects all my searches to the Bing platform. I've tried everything, resetting, re-installing, deleting applications, etc and can't seem to fix the problem.."
Hopefully you've found success in removing problems.
Take care!🐝🙈🐌🐟

There are sites, some suggest downloading questionable softwares; avoid those.

My default search is duckduckgo.
Doesn't track/share my usage.
Good luck & happy trails!🌞☘
