change text notifications

Currently, when I receive a text message, there are 3 notifications. Can I change this number of notifications? If so, how? The iPhone in question is a Xs.

Go to Settings—- Notifications—— Messages—-Repeated Alerts—-Set to Never. Hope it helps. Thank you.
