Question: Apple Watch Series 4 (Non-cellular) Streaming Podcasts
Hi everyone. As my title state I have an Apple Watch Series 4 (Non-cellular) and I'd like to be able to listen to podcasts that I subscribe to while I'm out exercising. I'd like to not have to take my iPhone 11 Pro Max with me as it's so large and in the summer in my running clothes, I don't have a pocket for it to fit in and I don't want to have to carry it in my hand. My podcasts sync just fine to my watch (the latest episode for each podcast), but then stop playing once I get about 5-10 minutes away from home. I was under the impression that once the podcasts synced to my watch I could play them without having a wifi or cellular signal. Is this incorrect? I've tried this on three different occasions with different podcasts and get the same result where I'm fine for the first 5-10 minutes of my run and then it won't play anymore. I use the Apple Podcast app, but have also tried Overcast. Overcast seems to sync better, but I get very odd results from it's syncing-it sometimes only syncs half a podcast and I've found it harder to customize playlists so that I can find what I'm looking for easier. Any help with this problem and solutions would be greatly appreciated!
