Apple For Small Businesses?

Hello!

I am working on starting a small business, and am looking into Apple for the business. It’s a VERY small business (at least currently) and I would probably only need 3-6 devices, most likely iPads possibly MacBooks. Does anyone know if I could get the business discount or any other information on Apple For Business?

Thanks!!

iPad, iPadOS 13

Visit business.apple.com for more info and to register. You will need your DUNS number (this is free if you don't already have one, but most businesses already have one, even if they don't realize it.) Once approved for Apple Business Manager, you can request an e-commerce portal where discounts may be offered based on the volume you purchase.

Hi ozzy_luv,

You can work through your local Apple Retail Store if you live near one. Here's a link to a quick search to find the nearest one:

They usually have an associate on staff who concentrates on small business needs. In addition, you can learn more about how Apple supports small and mid-size businesses here:

Good luck!

Bear in mind that despite what Apple say (‘Your next computer is not a computer’), even the top iPad is not a business productivity tool, it is a toy. Cut-down software versions, lack of a serious file manager or task manager, patchy third-party apps and unintuitive gesture-based navigation might leave you struggling depending on your needs. The limitation is in the OS. For example, even Apple’s own documentation for iMovie suggests that to finish off a video (eg compress, convert etc) you need to transfer it to a Mac. If a big phone meets your needs, the form factor suits the task, or you can afford both devices, fine. Otherwise get laptops.
