The main speaker on my AirPods are not working.

The main speaker on my AirPod 1st gen are not working. When I try to listen to music, it is super quiet when the volume is all the way up on my phone. It also sounds like the music is in the background. Is there a way to get the speaker replaced, or am I out of luck?
