HELP! iPad Pro 2020 Safari download problems
Hey guys! I have been using my new iPad Pro 12.9” 1TB for the last couple of weeks. I purchased it for photo and video editing, and it’s been working flawlessly until yesterday. Yesterday, I was downloading some LUT and Transition packs from a couple of YouTube channels that I subscribe to. Well, now when I download anything from any site, whether it be a LUT pack, transition, video file, etc, it will not download into the designated folder assigned in Safari settings. I have it normally set to OnMyIPad - Downloads which goes directly to hard drive. I tried to change it to iCloud - Downloads folder, but still the same problem exists. All my downloads pop up in the tool bar download icon drop down menu in Safari, it shows it’s progress, and then shows it complete once the download is finished. However, when I go to my folders, the file is not there. I can search the entire iPad and folders, the file is nowhere to be found. If I click on the download icon in the tool bar, then click on the file, it opens the file and allows me to view it or play it if it’s a movie. Normally, it would take me to the folder it’s located in, but it doesn’t, it only opens a window displaying the file by itself. From there, all I can do is click the share icon and click save to files, but it gives me an error saying “The operation can’t be completed. Operation not permitted.” It will allow me to save a downloaded video to my camera roll, but won’t allow me to save it to a file folder in any location on the hard drive or on the cloud. Can someone please help me with this, my new iPad is useless at this point and it’s really put a halt to my progress with editing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’ll attach a few screenshots if that helps.
