Two IMAC's...both recently updated operating system. Air Drop will not work?

Having an issue with Air Drop I followed all the recommended solutions and Air Drop is still not working between MacBook Pro Mid 2014 on Big Sur 11.6 and MacBook Pro 2020 on Big Sur 11.6.

Air Drop I have an iMac running Big Sur and a MacBook Pro running High Sierra (too old to update the OS). Air Drop worked fine when the iMac was running Catalina but since updating to Big Sur the two devices do not see each other. I have tried all of the fixes on this website but nothing seems to work. I have to copy items to a memory stick to transfer files between the computers.

My Air-Drop from iMac from 2013 doesn't work. There is no option in Finder to be discoverable Hasn't Apple addressed this issue and provided a fix? This is so frustrating
