Question: Free disk space download sierra, confusing??
So, I'm trying to go from Mavericks to Sierra, and it says you need 8.5GB's to download Sierra so I had about 10GB's free started to download process which was going fine, I've downloaded the installer for Sierra which has left me with about 3.5GB's of free space but when I started the installer process around installation type it says I will need 16.5 GB's of free disk space? Is this true as I could continue the installation process fine which I did, now it's installing but while it is saying running package scripts it's been saying 1 minute left now for half an hour, So should I quit the installer (would that be okay? the computer is working fine still running mavericks with installer running) and find more stuff to delete or just wait?
Thanks
