Do not install any third party anti virus apps. They may cause problems while providing no benefit. Use your computer's built in security.

macOS - Security - Apple

Protect your Mac from malware - Apple Support

Set up your Mac to be secure - Apple Support

A Few Thoughts:

  • Don't Use Security Software:

First off, keep Security Software off of your Mac - it is unneeded and just gets in the way. And this is a pure example of how and why.

  • Uninstall - Don't Delete it!

You would need to uninstall Kaspersky - not delete it. Just delete it, and temporary files will reside all about your Mac.

  • To Uninstall it:

Start by restarting your Mac. If a restart does not solve this, then first reinstall Kaspersky. Next, use the Uninstaller.

  • Then, Leave ALL Security Software off.

Uninstalling Kaspersky for Mac:

Download the Unistalters from the Developer (Kaspersky) and non-other. Elsewise, it may end up being malware or spyware you install. Restart your Mac once uninstalled.

You do not want Kaspersky & especially do not want AVG.
