My Apple Watch won’t erase.

I forgot my password and I try too many times the wrong one. When I press the screen it shows “too many passcode attempts. Reset Apple Watch and pair again. I try reset it don’t help. I try erase all content and settings too, but when I turn the watch on nothing was erased. What to do?
