Restoring from backup
If I purchase a regular 10-inch iPad, can I restore from an iPad mini backup?
iPad mini, iOS 12
if they use the same ios version yes, same if you have a backup of an iphone or ipod touch

The reply was helpful, so thanks for that. But that may mean that I will lose messages on my mini because part of the reason I am upgrading to a regular iPad is that the mini is too old to update to iOS 13.🙁
