I am thinking of buying a new iPad. The 7th generation 2019 iPad is a lot cheaper to get on ebay than the 2020. I don’t mind buying one that has been produced in 2019 if I can save money.
Does the 2020 issue have other features? I couldn’t find anything when I googled.

There is no 2020 iPad 7th gen.
The current 7th gen iPad being made and sold by Apple is the 2019 model.
Also, if buying used, make sure its not activation locked. If it is, you won't be able to use it, unless the seller releases it form their account. Activarion Lock cannot be bypassed by anyone, even Apple.

Thank you, Phil. That is what I was hoping for. I am aware of the problems with the activation but I found someone that has one still shrink wrapped.
