Keyboard

Hello

My wired aluminium keyboard is starting to play up if I type Q lower or upper I get a letter R in upper or lower after the Q, typing the letter V gives me an A after the V. Maybe the keyboard is on its way out. At present I am using my old wireless keyboard from my iMac G5. This struggles to connect at times but connects straight away to my Mac book pro, so I guess that is two problems. I would appreciate some help please both laptop and desktop are running MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 the iMac is a late 2012 model.
