Missing compass app

Missing compass app

I have a brand new Series 5 I purchased yesterday. There is no compass app that appears. I have looked thru all the apps on the watch. I have looked through all listed watch apps on my iPhone. there is no visible compass app anywhere. What am I missing?

I will try to load from the app store. However, the compass is one of the things they tout in their ads for the watch. Why on earth would it not be installed from the beginning?
