iPhone Xs stuck in boot loop
A little over a week ago my phone was working fine and then a few hours later I went to unlock it and it froze and shut off and when I tried to turn it on it went into a boot loop. I tried to do a hard reset and that didn’t work. So then I tried to plug it in to my computer and do an update but that didn’t work either. I don’t want to do the restore because I don’t have a recent backup ( I know I’m terrible ugh). I kept trying different things and then got it stuck in recovery mode. I took it to someone and he couldn’t fix it (although at the moment it is not stuck in the recovery mode just still the boot loop). In the end he felt like it was a software issue and maybe if apple comes out with another update that would work. IOS 13.5.1 doesn’t work in fixing this issue. I called someone from Best Buy but he said that since it’s in the boot loop and the update hasn’t worked the only thing to do is just reset it. Again I don’t want to do this because I have so many pictures and stuff I don’t want to lose. Is there anyway to at least get the data off the phone even if I can’t get the phone itself working? I don’t even know if another update from apple will help at this point or if it’s a lost cause? I don’t understand what happened though because it was working fine just a few hours before. Help!
