Refund accidentally subscribed to an app

my son accidentally subscribed to app. I got charged for it

iPhone X, iOS 13

You can request a refund from Apple but they are not obligated to refund your money due to an accidental purchase.

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support


I’m not sure what subscribed to an app means either, but if this is a subscription service, you need to cancel that as well.
