I subscribe to the student subscription for apple music. Is there a way to authorize my computer and my phone to play music from apple music?

Log in with your Apple ID in iTunes on your computer and on your phone.

The subscription is tied to the Apple ID, not a specific device.

As long as that Apple ID is signed in on the device in question Apple Music should be accessible.

On a computer you may need to authorize iTunes by going to the Account Menu->Authorizations->Authorize this computer.
