How do you know that? Are you getting verification codes? Since you have 2 Factor Authentication enabled, as long as they can't access one of your trusted devices, they can't get a code and sign in. You should be okay.

You might want to consider changing your password and making sure it is a strong one. You can also add 2 Factor Authentication to your account for more security. If the attempts continue, you might want to consider a name change.

Check your Apple ID device list  (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205064and remove any device that shouldn't be signed in using the steps in the link.

If there are none that shouldn’t be signed in, then you should not have a problem at this point. But, if an unauthorized device is signed in, Change your Apple ID password https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201355

See my post above about using your Apple ID device list. Also, you can deactivate or delete an account. Apple recommends doing the first for the obvious difference noted below.

How to deactivate your Apple ID account  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208503

If you request account deactivation, you'll receive a unique alphanumeric access code. When you're ready to reactivate your Apple ID, contact Apple Support, provide your access code, and we’ll help you reactivate your account. If you lose this code, we won't be able to help reactivate your account."

How to Delete your Apple ID Account https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208504

“While your request is being processed, you can contact Apple Support with the unique alphanumeric access code you received, and we’ll help you cancel your request. After your account is deleted, Apple can't cancel the request, reopen your account, or restore your data.”

You can get additional information on both by signing in here: Data and Privacy https://privacy.apple.com/account
