Mac mini late 2014. Got Prohibitive sign. Did Command-R. I messed up and accidentally erased Macintosh - HD Data volume and later the Macintosh - HD thinking I could recreate them. There is a Mac OS disk image showing up on disk utility. I tried reinstalling Catalina no success. what can i do now?

Hi thank you for your advice.
I tried everything. the drive is just not responsive. I think it is damaged beyond repair.
One more question: if the drive is shot, can I add a PCIE drive to the mac without replacing the faulty main drive? Would the mac recognize the new ssd pcie drive and use it instead of the main faulty drive?
