Latest "FIX" has my Mac telling me I need to join iCloud

Latest "FIX" has my MAC telling me I need to join ICLOUD. But of course the current APPLE engineering doesn't allow this. There is fix for this though. Create a new account and then switch it to the real account. Go through all the steps and guess what? And the support department is overwhelmed.
