How to apply for refund for a purchase of an app from App Store?

I accidentally purchased an yearly subscription of a photo editing app which I just downloaded. I don't have any use of the app and I haven't even used it. it was not a small amount and I cannot afford to lose it like that. How can I get my money back? Please help.
