iCloud storage?

So my iPhone 6 32gb is not even full and only has about 600 photos and videos all together in the camera roll yet my iCloud won’t upload anything cause if full... but how can it be full when it’s not. Also if I get a new phone like a 64gb or 128gb will I be able to upload to iCloud then???

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Have you purchased additional iCloud storage? The free level is only 5GB which can fillup pretty quicklly with a lot of photos. You can check your storage at https://www.icloud.com - sign in and click 'Account Settings' - you will see the amount of your storage and how much of it is in use.

Additional storage can be purchased (replaces the free 5GB, not adds to it); pricing is charged monthly (there is no annual option). 50GB $0.99 p.m., 200GB $2.99 p.m., 2TB $9.99 p.m. (UK ÂŁ0.79, ÂŁ2.49, ÂŁ6.99; other countries detailed here.)
