Vertical thin line, iPhone XS Max

I've started seeing this thin vertical line on the screen display. I did a quick research and followed a possible remedial action, including re-booting and resetting the phone (after all backed up). Nothing changes. It seems like a mechanical issue. I got this phone in late 2018.

Any advise?

I understand you are seeing a vertical line on your iPhone display.

As this is likely a hardware issue, I would recommend you ensure you have a backup of your data and Contact Apple Support.
