Usb 2.0 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter?

Hey,

Have an old external drive I need to connect to my macbook pro.

But my macbook pro has a thunderbolt 3 port, and the external drive has an older usb port ( I think usb 2.0? I'm including a picture below for reference).

Been searching for an adapter to connect the two devices but can't seem to find one. Anyone know a work around?

Thanks in advance!

You need a USB-C to USB-B cable:

Or you could use an old style printer cable which was a USB-A to USB-B cable and use a USB-C to USB-A adapter.
