just replaced my air pod case as my other one wasn't working with my initial purchase.
i put my air pods in the new case, opened it up and held down the button, the light just stayed orange and wouldn't change, and it wont connect to my phone, I've tried connecting one air pod at a time, didn't work. i tried resetting it but it wouldn't reset (orange light didn't show up)
any tips on how to fix would be great

Place both AirPods in their charging case and connect the charging case to its charger. Allow the AirPods to sit for a few hours.

ive done that and nothing has changed
replaced airpod case wont connect to phone
