iPhone gets hot

I watched a 8 mins video on YouTube and my iPhone gets very hot. It is a brand new set.

I can't seem to close more than 3 apps by swiping up. The screen freezes.

I can't control the volume level when swipe down from the top right hand side. The others like brightness, airplane more etc all works fine.

iPhone 11, iOS 13

Force Restart the phone and whether that solves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

If NOT then-

Your iPhone 11 is less than one year old and is therefore covered by the Apple 1YR Limited Warranty (US) so have it examined at the Apple Store or at an authorized service center and take advantage of it. If the stores are closed then please contact ➔ Apple Support
