Sorry, we can’t determine the particulars of why AppleCare would refuse coverage. Asking Apple to explain would be the best way to know: Apple Support


Do you have a current AppleCare or AppleCare+ warranty? The following are links to resources about Apple’s warranty policies if you want to research what applies to your particular situation.
