Delete emails simultaneously

I want to be able to delete emails in either my iPhone or my MacBook Air and have them simultaneously deleted on the other device.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

That will happen if the accounts are set up as IMAP or Exchange accounts on all of your devices.

POP3 does not allow for cross client synchronization.
