Low Volume after Facetime Call for 16" Macbook Pro

Hey,

Has anyone else encountered an issue after facetime on a laptop with low volume on other video chatting platforms or on the computer in general? Ex. I facetime, hang up go on a zoom call, and my volume is very low. This also happens to my system in general. Music plays low or the volume is just very low. I had a virtual doctors appointment and I could barley hear them speaking. I looked at my volume and it was all the way up. I know this laptop has amazing sound with that surround sound vibe. I have to restart my computer for it to come back to a normal default volume. This is for the new Macbook pro 16" computers.
