Phone 11 damaged speaker

I just bought a brand new iphone 11 last month for my brother and he just found out that one of the speakers is not working...

Does anybody know if apple has any warranty other on new products any than apple care ?

All new Apple products have a 1 year warranty.

Do note, If you are referring to the grills along the bottom edge of the phone, one is a speaker, one is a microphone.

Yes he said on the bottom the left side... is that a mic by anychance ? He eis the one telling me whats wrong with it and im barely starting on appe products
