The password for a given Apple ID is the same no matter where you sign in.

I’m logged into Apple but I’m still being asked to log into iCloud. When I enter the same password it doesn’t accept the password
Do you have 2 different Apple IDs? If you go to Settings/Your Name/iCloud, is the Apple ID shown there the same as the Apple ID whose password you are trying to use?
