forgot password for iPad 2 and I deleted it from my devices

is there a way to connect to my computer and reset it without loosing the data?

You won’t lose whatever data you have backed up. You will lose everything else.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
