Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts..

Downloaded the suggested malwarebytes and it worked. Just did the free download and didn’t have to do anything the popup message just suddenly disappeared.

I was having the same problem and searched the system to find the app with no luck. I then rebooted the computer and pressed moved to trash then emptied the trash.

I haven’t had any problem since!
