To simultaneously connect your iPad to both a Power Adapter and external display/monitor, you’ll require one of these two adapters:

2018 or 2020 iPad Pro with a USB-C Connector

USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter

iPad models with a Lightning connector

Lightning Digital AV Adapter
