Hello everyone, i received an iphone from my friend as he forgot his apple id and password and throw the iphone in a corner.
So i want to know what i can do to remove thw activation lock as it says to me that its disabled and to enable the account i should reset it. But how to do it when i dont know the apple id.
Can anyone bring some help or advice please.

Tell him to use Apple's iForgot service or contact their Account Security team, or the iPhone’s original owner to supply Apple with its purchase receipt and ask them to remove the lock.

Without the ID and passcode the device is useless.
Recycle it.
