How to stop auto capitalization of all letters on names instead of just first letter in iPad Pro?

If you simply wish to disable auto-capitalisation at a system level, you can do so here:

Settings > General > Keyboard > Auto-Capitalisation - set to OFF


Auto-capitalisation in iPadOS 13.4.1 and later, if enabled, does appear to be somewhat erratic in its application.  At this time, there doesn’t appear to be an available workaround short of disabling Auto-Capitalisation.


If however you problem is with an earlier version of iOS (the tags associated with your post suggest than you may have an iPad2 with iOS9), then something else might be the cause.


I suggest that you document any difficulties you experience - and submit feedback to Apple using the appropriate feedback page:
