Is the COVID19 tracing part of this update. Tracking everyone.

The previous update had the COVID19 tracking of everyone in it. Does this newest update have it too?

Updating the ios doesn't track you, it is turned off by default, and you would need to download a 3rd party app, that allows the tracking and then you enable it.

For better clarification from one of our user Tim.

There are no covid tracking apps included in the update. What's included is the API that allows developers to create tracking apps.

The API is disabled by default. In order for it to become active, you would have to download a tracking app and manually enable the tracking api.
